YACSA is establishing a formal subcommittee of the board for young members to increase participation in decision making and focus on improving YACSA’s engagement with young people.
The young member subcommittee will assist the YACSA board to meet its strategic objectives by acting as a conduit between the Board, YACSA staff, and the membership. The subcommittee will have input into and oversight of YACSA’s policy and advocacy agenda through direct engagement with peers and will contribute to projects undertaken by the team.
This is a new initiative and we’re seeking expressions of interest from young members who want to work with the Board to help establish the subcommittee including developing terms of reference (rules) and recruitment process.
