SA Youth Forum Open Workshop

The South Australian Youth Forum provides a platform for young people, between 15 to 18, to engage, discuss and debate issues of relevance that directly affect them. By meeting once a month for the duration of 2022, the delegates are provided with an opportunity to input their opinion and views.

Our vision is:

1. Give young people a voice

2. Empower young people

3. Allow representation in decision-making

4. Connect young people in the community

We would love to broaden our representation by having an open consultation with young people from years 10-12 in South Australia. In the workshop, we will be discussing main issues that youth are affected by.

All insights and ideas are welcomed and will be recorded in the SA Youth Forum's Annual Report. This report will then be delivered to community groups and Parliamentarians.

We will be having open discussions about different issues, then brainstorming possible initiatives that youth want to see implemented to improve these.

The South Australian Youth Forum and this open workshop are run by young people for young people, so come along to connect and become empowered by other young change-makers!
